We're missing each other. The difficulty requirement isn't for any event written to that relay, it's public key specific. If a user is spamming, or the public key is new to the relay, the requirements for that user are raised.

#NerdMiner 1.6.1, another decent hashrate bump, and now I can clearly see how far I am from ever mining a block πŸ˜‚ If this was 2010 I would've had a real chance!

I don't know what DVM's are or how they operate, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. But I see your point - the note has to include proofwork in the event, and the whole thing is signed. Is it then down to sending the note "draft" to this POW worker, it sends back some kind of nonce/data, and the client then sends off the final event? Amethyst would handle this asynchronously in the background.

To satisfy relays that require proof of work in order to write. Presumably there will be "POW relays" that accept any note but rebroadcast having done some POW. That way Androids aren't exploding.

I swear 90% of my unread mails from the past 5 years are PayPal making some kind of change to their policies

My #NerdMiner in a serious David and Goliath battle here. Managed only 0.00000000004% of the difficulty needed πŸ˜‚

If the original poster doesn't have those additional relays, might they not see replies?

2023 and freedom tech has ditched the right to be forgotten 😜

Isn't this some weird ouroboros - the debt the US owes to external parties, was it not originally credit printed by those parties? The US paying everyone back returns printed money back to its' creators. So the US printing dollars to pay off foreign debts _exports_ inflation. Depends what those foreign nations then do with it. Or am I way off here?
