The real learning comes from applying this stuff & experiencing the result for yourself.

It's not until I type this stuff out that I really integrate it into my beliefs. I hope that others get some benefit from it but that's not my main motivation. I get value from refining & expressing these ideas & from the discourse that results.

10 Tenets of Health (v0.5)

Simple principles grounded in ancestral wisdom that are practical and applicable in the modern world

1. Save your time in hard money (#bitcoin)

2. Adopt a low time preference, do something everyday to improve your health

3. Align your daily rhythm with sunlight

4. Eat local, seasonal foods grown naturally in healthy soil (especially high quality meat) & drink living water from a natural source

5. Spend at least 5% of waking hours alone in solitude

6. Spend less than 10% of waking hours sitting in a chair

7. Spend at least 10% of waking hours walking outside (barefoot or in natural shoes)

8. Spend at least 10% of waking hours in nature

9. Develop at least 5 deep and meaningful relationships, prioritize in person connection

10. Reduce exposure to propaganda and social media algorithms

Sometimes things happen in your life that are very undesirable.

As disruptive & frustrating as these events can seem, they all have value. Don't make yourself into the victim or the judge as it will obscure the value from you.

Accept that life has thrown you this challenge & look for the hidden value. Failing to do this often leads to similar "learning opportunities".

You're allowed to have preferences but nobody gets to skip the lessons.

Meats of evil!

We have 2 beautiful, smart, whitty funny little boys.

My wife desperately wanted more. A little girl to round out the family.

I always said no because I didn’t think we could afford it.

I worried about sacrificing too much to provide for another.

I worried about schooling, I worried about travel, I worried about having an affordable and comfortable lifestyle for all of us.

I had a fiat mindset, because I didn’t know any different.

I didn’t realise there was a solution that would enable everything we wanted through hard work and time preference.

Now, I fear we have left it too late to safely go after what we want due to age.

Fiat robbed me and my family of something truly beautiful and I will never forgive or forget.

Not a shitcoiner, but I can get down for proof-of-steak 🤤
