Start working out! Make no excuses about something else being more important.
Your future self will thank you!
It's never too late!
Great to hear. For me it took almost 10 years from starting to visit the gym until like about 2 years ago when it started clicking with me and since then i have been stepping it up and almost every new day is my fittest day yet while also being in my fourties.
GM!
What's this new thing i've been hEARing about?

Anything i can do to fix this?
I came here mostly because it was what bitcoiners were talking about. I have never used any other social media platform in any meaningful way (i.e. i never had a twitter account and i used to have a facebook account that i maybe posted 2 or 3 things on 15 years ago).
I am not that much interested in the social media aspect even though it's nice that there are a lot of like-minded people on here. To me it's more about other possibilities this type of platform can offer. There's loads of potential here for widely different use cases than other platforms can offer without deviating too much from their core business.
News is just entertainment in a different form any way. Ask yourself this:
- When was the last time i read/saw a news article and i changed my life because of it?
- (From the top of your head) What were the most important articles of last month?
I've heard many people say it is important to be up to date with what's happening in the world, but the reality is that i can read about events happening somewhere and that may give some kind of emotional feeling of angriness, happiness or sadness, but i am not going to change anything in my life because of it. So it feels very aritificial to me to spend time on it.
News articles can still be a a good source if you are actually looking for information on a subject, but just presenting daily affairs of things that will have no impact on me except emotions is just wasteful.
Edit: "all these other things _don't_ matter"
I think it's slightly more nuanced.
If you describe a job as slaving away to get by and don't starve vs contributing to society and making the world a better place the latter sounds much more intriguing.
It's not that I don't think all these other things matter but they are not going to fill up your entire day for the rest of your life.
However i do agree that there could be more focus on those parts for sure.
Let's get people on nostr first, then ween them of Windows.
I heard that 20 years ago already. It's probably like nuclear fusion, always a shifting moment into the future..
I can't make it but i'll vouch for you! Kick some ass!
Maybe it's a good idea to somehow, somewhere prominently show last month's relay costs, broken down in those 3 area's so people have an idea of what it costs to host these relays and additionally show a "drive" of how much of these costs have been donated.
It's probably hard because you would have to do it client sided and all/most clients would have to implement this.
It's definitely not an end-all solution but giving insight in costs and covered costs at least gives people a general ballpark idea of what we would need to cover in the current situation and make it more likely to pay their part.
Oh i thought it was python, i don't think i can or want to touch cpp :/
I can have a look at strfry and its issuetracker since python is my native tongue. Maybe there are some small thing i can fix.
Wait i don't quite understand it. Do we need more relay codebases? Are they outdated? Or do we need more relays? Or faster/bigger relays?
I used to run a relay on my but once i noticed there was stuff on i did not want on it and that could actually get me in trouble with the law as well i simply destroyed it.
I am a backend dev but since i am still doing a normie full-time job as well to provide for my family so my time is pretty limited.
