In more than 10 years of just explaining bitcoin to people (but never encouraging or pushing to buy) here's the total list of people i convinced:

Hey nostr:nprofile1qqsx2wyjt6lmvc05rrvv05r5hm3w3t7h0pcpmkyswrpd4ymd2u09tscpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3kamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu339e682mnwv4k8xct5wvhxxmmdqywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttsw43zuam9d3kx7unyv4ezumn9wscn3xgh, my queue seems buggy. I don't think it ever worked correctly. My last error was that it started replaying the same thing i just finished but i've also had it purge my whole queue after finishing whatever it was i was playing or simply stop playing anything even though there were still items in the queue. Any idea what i can do to fix this or help you investigate?
Contextually this was maybe the incorrect point to make the reply in this thread. Sorry.
I love you and all the work you do, regardless if it includes implementations of things that the status quo is divided upon.
And you think that will then not offend the people that put it there?
I'll grab my popcorn. This will cause drama for sure.
I had an uncle that often said "leergeld" which translates losely to "learning money".
Even though they may have lost their savings (or parts of it), but let's hope they have seen the light and start stacking sats from now on.
It's never too late! The moon is still bright and far away.. ππ
It's a platform for free marketing and circle jerks.
It did deliver me customers in the past though, even with zero active engagements or posts.
Is all this doubling down necessary?
I can't imagine any positive outcome by stomping on attempts to make it better.
Is it really worth it? Will you now sell more clocks? Do you not want to be part of the community and at least talk about it? What do you have to lose by talking?
Hello Nostr, I'm Alan Rockefeller, a mycologist with over two decades of experience studying wild mushrooms. I enjoy teaching DNA barcoding, field photography, and microscopy.
I spend half my time in the lab and the other half in the woods, especially the western USA, MΓ©xico and South America.
I post all my photos and DNA barcodes on iNaturalist and Mushroom Observer a lot,

Hello and welcome fellow shroom enjoyer. I have a weird fascination with mushrooms myself. I shall follow you and learn from you!
I know very little but can identify the easily identifiable edible wild mushrooms in The Netherlands. I also cultivate my own oysters, shiitake and lion's mane.
I also like to take pictures of wild mushrooms. It's nothing fancy, i do it with my phone. However feel free to use any of them if you please.. Most are taken in The Netherlands but there are a few from Scandinavia and Austria.
Interesting. I knew about bad sleep affecting insulin release and increasing carb cravings, which then makes for bigger insulin spikes the next day, disrupting sleep the next night and ending in a vicious circle. I can confirm that this is definitely the case for me. If i sleep bad i eat worse the next day and it takes a long of discipline to get out of that cycle once i've been doing that for 2 or 3 days.
To break it i either plan my day away from home and have just the meals i know i need to eat with me (usually eggs and some meat) and ensure there's no easy way to get anything else (by hiking the whole day for example) or i muster up all the discipline i can and try to fast 24 hours to break the cycle.
Big Food is big on carbs because they are massively addictive and cost very little to produce. The more products they can enrich with some kind of carb the better. Profit margins are much higher on cookies than they are on a steak.
I think at this point in time you are almost better off doing nearly the complete opposite of what health experts try to tell you.
Some companies try to cut sugars in their products but just replace them with other crap like xylitol, sorbitol, sucralose and other sugar alcohols or chemical compounds. Instead of making it better they now made it worse.
Sugar is a drug, you are an addict and the only to improve is to take massive cuts in carb intake and avoid replacements.
I've been doing keto for more than 12 years now. I still like bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, cookies and chocolate. I allow myself to eat them occasionally but they will never be part of my standard diet ever again.
What this has done for me is making me feel satiated, not worrying about eating too much, steady energy levels, much higher quality sleep. I was never very heavy but i did go from nearly 90kg to being somewhere between 72 and 78kg without ever feeling hungry and the need to fight it with discipline.
I never convinced anybody else about this lifestyle though. People get flooded by government institutes and health experts still promoting carbs and avoiding (animal) fats. The whole vegetarian narrative is definitely not going to make people healthier or less obese. I am very worried about meat replacements...

He's da real MVP. Such humbleness as well. Absolute great person.
In his Take from Wednesday, Shinobi argued that the surge of institutional bitcoin adoption will lead to premature ossification of the Bitcoin protocol. While I share his concern to an extent, I am less convinced this is necessarily true.

I believe in the power of the end user.
Imagine Satoshi going after every altcoin created.
Half the stuff you use everyday are knockoffs of another product.
I would feel flattered if people copied my idea or product, especially in a an environment that embraces openness.
Could have at least contacted the person just to see if you could cooperate towards a new product. Or copy whatever they are doing better to improve your own product.

Must we fight each other at this stage already?
