Not really, I've had several along the way, mostly on the lower end: Crown, Parker, etc. Right now, I'm using a plastic Pilot VPen (disposable, horrors!), which works fine.

My handwriting is totally different, and better, with a fountain pen -- any fountain pen, pratically -- than any other type of pen.

Yesterday and today I spent hours formatting a major book we'll be publishing later this year. Lots of work but great stuff, will be a major contribution to our literature.
