Under a #Bitcoin standard, companies that are highly leveraged with lower quality services and products would be flushed out.
Bailouts and the socialization of losses would be a thing of the past.
The misallocation of capital and malinvestment would be minimized as central authorities would no longer be able to distort market signals through monetary policy.
War is financed through deficit spending, which is in turn subsidized by expanding the money supply (i.e., printing money from thin air).
Money with zero cost of production is easily manipulated, benefiting a select few at the expense of the many.
By using monetary inflation to fund wars, governments force taxpayers to finance their political agendas by eroding the purchasing power of the local currency.
To make war unaffordable and less likely, we need a form of money with a high cost of production, a fixed supply, and no human involvement in its oversight.
#Bitcoin is that money.
Its supply is fixed and capped at 21 million.
Its production requires significant energy and capital investments.
It is decentralized.
