That's why they have paid relays (or POW). You can actually set it up to send to free without reciveing from them.
Mine is self hosted and doesn't go through alby. I used it with Amethyst and had problems using it with self hosted web apps like snort though.
So do have a lightning app on your phone that connects to your node? To do transactions or zaps?
