I have a #linux question. I'm trying to update firmware on this laptop but can't boot from the internal drive, so want to run fwupd from a Linux mint live iso.
Which will run, but says I have no space on the drive. I know there is space on the USB. How can I expand the install media to take up more of the disk and allow me to actually run this?

Yes, modern day Windows is so extremely bloated. I never understood why Microsoft removed the customisation options from the installer. But perhaps they went: "Hm, thats an awful lot of disk space you got there.. let's do something about that"

The last 2 months, i've been giving out comptuers with my customized NixOS on it, and with NO training, people have ZERO issues.
Sometimes I feel like #linux is a bit rougher around the edges than I'd like it to be...
But then I use a Windows computer and realize HOW GOOD we have it.
How does anyone use this hot garbage?! I've never seen an i7 with an NVMe run so slow in my life.

I've got an HP Chromebook 11 that's been jailbroken and running #NixOS perfectly.... Except audio. Just shows no device and headphones don't work either.
I checked NixOS hardware and didn't see anything. Seems like a hardware thing. Like #linux kernel params.
