Tiramisu. God. Bitcoin. Drivechain. In that order.

Great debate. Someone finally countered with the fact that DC allows different people to get different things they want out of bitcoin, based on market choice.

Giacomo believes market choice means people retain the right to spend their money on anything they want, outside bitcoin. This is true, but, BTC core development is limited to core devs and interested/funded corps, like fiat cantillion. it is not the case that anyone can do what they want with their money. (bitcoin)

In other words, bitcoiners are limited to the world view of core devs and corps.

What about people who don't want Taproot, or other soft forks ? Their L1 experience is now impacted by ordinals.

Dc isolates future changes like this.

I think it, DC, will eradicate them over time for sure. But to remove XMR's argument for Asic resistance, we would need something like stratumV or other tech that guards Miner centralization.

Ring sigs and bullet proofs in Monero, are unnessary with a straight forward Zside on DC.

We are already living in a more artistic and visually rich world thanks to #ai.

More people are able to communicate through images and form, in more varieties.

What before was punctuated with memes, is now punctuated by image-concepts.

Everyone participating in the Liquid multisig is KYC'd.

You skipped over the custodial thing. Very important. If bitcoin is custodied it can be censored.

Now you are spiralling into madness and cope, the last retreat of the vanquished.

Muddied and defeated you swing your sword around as the truth encircles and closes in, like the final scene in a period movie.

Drivechains do not increase supply.

This is funny on several levels.

Great discussion. Covers everything, including bloatware in bitcoin dev.

Ok he doesn't understand how prime works yet, i hope he see what i will post on twitter.

Prime 'miners' would not need to know the state of all other tx's. They work on a type of flexible encryption werein any number of valid "coins/tokens" can be accounted for. its the whole point of Todds single use seals. In non technically precise terms, once a utxo is spent that spend seal is broken and cannot be used again, preventing double spend. The "miners" are agnostic as to the rest of the network state.

it's like a concert arm band. No one keeps track of when and where each arm band is, only that it is of a valid nature and not forged.

Where as arm bands can be forged, Prime relies on primitives that mean it can't be hacked to change spends or seal quality any more than 1+1=2 can be changed.

Please let me know what you think of that latter analogy, if it makes sense.

We are at the begining of the next decade of education about prime, which is the next logical evolution of bitcoin and freedom.

One of the best explanations of why we have 10 min blocks and and difficulty adjustments.

Most explanations describe "what" or "how" not "why". Why 10 mins and not 20 ? Why have a block delay at all.

Ever humble. Contrary to his claims i doubt severely that PeterK Todd understands bitcoin more than him. Bitcoin is not just code and math, its also economics, psychology and game theory. It's art, philosophy and morality wrapped in signal. It's an element and phenomena as real as fire or energy and gravity. Few understand this.
