The main vulnerable points of #Monero
There is an axiom in computer security that says that a system is as safe as its most vulnerable point.
Monero is a #privacy blockchain with a sufficiently safe design, and that until now has not been hacked or violated its privacy, not even by Chainysisis, the most important forensic analysis company hired by governments.
But there are attack points, and the main ones are: 1. developers, 2. open source repositories and 3. wallets.
With respect to developers we know what happened with FluffyPony, the solution is anonymity; Satoshi Nakamoto and Nicolas van Saberhagen knew it.
Then, the open source repositories where Github is the main one, and is a centralized platform, who is the current owner? Microsoft, the establishment's company, so it is easy for the Government to impose the prohibition of a repository. The solution could be decentralized platforms as Radicle https://radicle.xyz/ or Gitopia https://gitopia.com/
Finally, wallets are vulnerable points, since without wallets there is no self -ustody and the CEX would be the only possibility of having $XMR, and here the solution is a combination of the previous ones, its developers must be anonymous and their open source in decentralized repositories.
Radicle is tor native too.
Imagine a local gangster has killed millions of people, and actively takes peoples freedoms away for non-violent crimes such a speech or economic activity.
Then you discover a way to fuck with their income and power, and then choose to do it publicly and with your real identity.
Not only that, you gloat about it and advertise that you are doing that explicitly to fuck with the gangster.
That's what Samourai, Whirlpool devs did, what other companies ARE doing.

I believe some core engineering team or chair person that has been there since the early days has kept aspects of the old reddit alive as best they can.
The platform has gone way downhill but you can still visit the old layout by adding the old. Prefix and sign up without an email, start a subreddit and if it's on good behavior and moderates well, be left alone. They might suspend for really obscure dumb reasons though, if they think you are a bot using VPN and tor.
I say this as someone who deleted their large karma account in protest.
