Over the past 30 years we have been exponentially more and more glued to our screens (TV, Computers and Phones).
For either:
1) Work
or
2) Recreation
Let's look at #2, Recreation... People are either playing games, watching shows on Netflix or using social media.
It's a cheap way to spend your time. Some may say this is 'fun'.
I expect this trend to continue until a certain class of people are fully immersed in the digital realm since operating in the physical realm too costly for them.
Don't be shocked if governments start to include a machine that lets you plug into a very life like simulation as part of the #CPI basket.

It detected it's a video, so it asks me if I want to publish a job request on nostr, a Data Vending Machine Job Request (per the NIP I wrote last weekend) so AIs *COMPETE* to serve me data.
Highlighter detected that someone had already paid the AIs for this exact same transcript, so it just gave me data.
Nostr is getting weird(er).

That's probably because it takes a good deal of effort to not conform because you would have to do the following.
1) having an understanding of the situation and the pieces in the puzzle
2) setting goals to direct your energy in an appropriate manner
3) appropriately harnessing energy to meet point 2.
It would require people to actually think about things...
People are essentially just stores of energy.
More people = More human energy
Therefore, more options for us to utilize that energy in a productive and mutually beneficial manner.
