This guy consistently puts me off. His attitude is irritating, his overly alpha male orientation is cringe, and the whiff of scam looms large around his persona. However, it appears that the powers-that-shouldn't-be keep fucking with him, probably because he has a big, obnoxious mouth and they want to show they can control him. His toxic alpha won't allow for this. So, we hit an interesting situation. He is a whale with a large platform, it seems he should be "one of them". They won't accept him, so he says he is done with "them". Ok, good. So if he uses his resources to help squash corruption, provides proof of this and amplifies this message to his fanboys then a tip of the hat for Mr. Tate...you are pushing for macro-level positivity and that is something I can respect.
Totally get it, the gym is merely one venue to strength train, plenty of places to do it. For me, the biggest focus is to make certain that all muscles are stressed/trained. Backpacking is great, incorporates cardio.
Heck yeah, that is great! Ok, once you acclimate to that routine, up the intensity, do a solid1-1.5 hours of muscle training at the gym first thing in the morning. You will have a very clear head, will feel powerful all day (of course once you acclimate to the strength training routine) and sleep like a baby at night. Treat your body like a temple, no processed, garbage foods. Regular meditation and quiet time in nature. The accumulated effects are profound and life-changing. Keep pushing on, we are capable of so much!!
Whoa, that is pretty fucked up.
Anybody have a link to a good documentary digging into the money/support/influence by "the bigs" into orgs like Blockstream and Lightning Labs? Also, anything on the consolidation of mining operations, or the mining hardware bottlenecks.
To be clear, I love bitcoin for many years in fact! But, I am not religious about anything. Always eyes wide open, always trying to understand how complex systems evolve.
Welp, that is a 24/24 for me, and I'm barely Gen X. Wait, that is old nowadays. Crap. I built a fairly large CD collection cycling Columbia House memberships.
Definitely insane, but not unexpected. Throughout history, entities with power and control have not been big on sharing either. This is the final warning, decentralize everything (hosting, development, production) or those struggling to maintain control will burn the house down to retain it. "They" are not fucking around, we shouldn't either.
This is hilarious on so many levels. The US is now talking about sanctioning India 🤣🤣🤣

In other news, the US government has decided it will now sanction every country in the world. Ignorance and hubris are not bound by the laws of physics, therefore absurdity can bloom. There is nothing more pathetic than a naked, toothless emperor shaking its fist at clouds as they decide to piss on him and laugh. Imagine voting for any of these clowns. Imagine participating in this idiot show and believing that it is real. Hilarious on many levels indeed.
Jack and I deserve being wealthy for the amount of work we have had to do nostr:nevent1qqstq32ajrlm7fndwxqxs63n3tnedwaxhdcpumd7znt65fs0mndr6jqzypuy4txej3frdschu5d54hrp5j3v4lze5mgm0x436x4qzfpzxtzk5e7k328
I don't understand your comment!
Oh boy, my gut tells me that humans ultimately gravitate towards freedom, therefore your prediction is sound. That being said, people (in the aggregate) are so manipulable and the ruling class so predatory, that it is clear we are set up for the classic power struggle for the digital space. We need armies of ethical, liberty-oriented developers to keep throwing all the spaghetti at the wall to find the magic tools that stick, thereby pulling in the masses to freedom-oriented tech.
Yep, our fondleslab vending machines will just be shrunk down a little more, stuck into our dumbass heads and our cognitive abilities will be enhanced just enough to be able to digest a swifter current of agitprop and advertisements. The flying cars we were promised will be phantoms in our minds and the bugs will taste like fine wine.
in a few years you'll be all like, "Shit happens son, shit happens" :)
Halting the transactional will of free market participants using their own earned/stored value. Nice free market you have there, shame if someone came along and btc'ed it.
Yes, meaning apps all need to be open source and decentralized? ...and ultimately, hosted in a decentralized fashion (Qortal or something similar?) Does this ultimately push btc and other crypto into acceptable (exchange-tagged crypto) and unacceptable (associated with addresses that are from custodial wallets?) pools whereby unacceptable crypto is never accepted by corporate entities and remains only as peer to peer community money? Many questions, there always have been.
Ultimately for me, I've arrived at a perspective that sees the necessity of decentralizing literally every aspect of digital communication, and with tools that are desired by normies. Only once the entire ecosystem of digital communication (of money, of speech, of sharing, of ...) reaches a critical mass of participants can we hope to actually score a real, sustainable hit against the elitist class.
Yeah, perhaps we all need to dial back the magical thinking. Boring shit like planning, preparing, sacrificing, foregoing, sharing, and just plain being diligent should probably be staples in life if you want to march toward some facsimile of success (on a boring material level, security level). No judging this particular women, I certainly don't know her journey in life. That being said, for many people who have lived much of their life, tucking a few bucks away in btc at this point probably isn't going to rain lambos down on their future, or change it in any fundamental sense, unless notions like consistency, repetition, focus, and taking responsibility blended into the fabric of their lives. We've all been lied to, we've all been stolen from by rapacious, corrupt assholes for years. Sucks, but that is reality. We need to fight against those demons (and our own personal internals ones) if we are going to rise above, and make a better world.
This seems a pretty weak attempt at vote purchasing. Perhaps he should stick to his game of buying votes by eliminating debt instead of encouraging more debt in a bubble real estate market.
I can't help but laugh everytime I think about the fact that when I was younger, I voted. Funny and sad, but more sad than funny. And the corruption machine grinds on toward failure.
Yep, yep, I think you hit the nail on the head here. It is frustrating to see people shit on altcoins that have been around nearly as long as btc, that use, essentially the same basic tech, and, in some cases an expanded protocol for specific purpose (ie: Monero and ring signatures for privacy). I sort of think the pendulum will swing back and many old school crypto folks will be put off by the institutional push of btc and desire a bit of balance in their decentralized tools/holdings. We shall see.
For sure, I love using LTC as well, super fast, super cheap, reliable. It would be great to have a diverse ecosystem of cryptos exchangable on open source, decentralized protocols that offer native mixing. I think this is the beautiful promise of crytpo. I think btc as king (essentially like spendable gold) with many community-loved cryptos relating to it (btc) and one-another. Of course the many scam coins (usually POS stuff), will continue to be a thorn in the "credibility" argument posed by non-crypto types, but, inauthenticity has a way of shaking itself out over time.
Hmmm, the one thing they all have in common.....hmmm, what is it?? Oh, oh, I know! They all love Zionists and will continue to send America's fake money and very real weapons to Israel enabling genocide to continue. All three can roast, I rather vote for RFKs brain worms. Participating in a corrupt system only legitimizes it.
Holy strange balls indeed. I think I just listened to an Israeli spy lizard word salad some sort of perverted argument that I should trust the US government (a government that appears to be controlled by his government) because banks and governments should create more money to create more trust? Actually I'm not even sure I got that right. Actually, I not even clear as to what the fuck he just said. So bitcoin is a currency of distrust because it isn't printed by a distrustful government? He is a self-proclaimed historian...did he not read about the history of money before he shat out of his mouth? Bollocks, 2024 is turning out to be 50% confusing and 50% stupid. Ok, back to digging my hole out in the woods to escape the words of turds like this bald Golem spook.
