I created a simple one page site with information on why and how to get your bitcoin from a crypto exchange, create your own Bitcoin wallet, how to acquire it and how to create and test your backup.
Let me know your feedback and of people find it useful, information is missing, etc.
I could not see the Iranian Rial in Robosats. How is this on other p2p exchanges?
Thank you for sharing this!
Can they get their bitcoin out of the exchange or do they have restrictions?
If Bitcoin is used to send transactions between noncustodial wallets, then tax has no meaning. Tax is a term from the government that doesn't exist within the Bitcoin network.
Besides using other tools like peer to peer exchanges (non-regulated) another alternative is even better and simpler: buying and selling bitcoin for cash. I would recommend to only so this with people you trust.
You could also do this with people you don't know. Then you need to use a peer to peer exchange to make sure everybody is incentived to act honestly otherwise they won't get their cash or bitcoin.
Here is one:
Thank you for informing.
Perhaps it's an idea to create a one page site with links to tutorials (articles/video) how to pay with p2p like Robosats and others. This means they also need a Lightning wallet like nostr:nprofile1qqst4qyeqenw7zm0fwjsty68h6cnys5jre2xd8ngqpjv5a2j26s78fspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm0d9hx7uewd9hj75a0pev. Then make sure this link gets spread a lot.
It's probably fiat what makes people behave like this and keeps them in their comfort zone blindfolded.

This is an amazing chart!
Interesting. I also have been giving bitcoin to people over the years and sent it to their newly installed hot wallet in their phone. I emphasized the backup words are the most important thing, multiple have a new phone and/or lost their words, there are also multiple who have kept their words. It's the perfect test for responsibility with a small amount.
I've also given a few satscards, which is cool because they can also pass it along and you can physically hold it.
I was also considering something you did and that is giving them a number of sats and storing or in a BIP-85 wallet for x years and telling them they have it stored somewhere.
The UN just approved the UN Cybercrime Treaty, a drastic global surveillance law that gives UN member states the ability to freeze assets in other countries
I'm too tired to explain, so here's an overview 👇 longer post coming next week

Fu-cking in-sane. They watched too many dystopian movies.
Every law will eventually criminalize a developer. So go anonymous and build the stuff without consequences.
Thinking from first principles :-)
Thank you for the correction and explanation.
Bitcoin being transparent is a clear feature, not a bug. It is how double spend is prevented.
