>PC monitors DO this, now??

What do you think HDMI was made for ? It literally supports ethernet protocol.

As always VGA/DVI is superior.

I thought no one used the Ethernet over HDMI and it was dead tech?

I don't understand why people connect their TVs or monitors to the Internet.

Don't bogart that Hopium. Pass it over.

1Password has its own ssh agent?! .. or like it finds your running SSH agent socket and communicates with it?

We use it at work, but I've never used it for a terminal use case. I don't think so? Like how would that even work?

I imagine you'd have a custom function or alias in your shell to replace/override the sudo command, then call some 1Password API, show a popup, and return the actual password to the sudo command. I don't think sudo can take parameters for the password, so it would have to redirect it to sudo's stdin. And at that point, you've captured the shell and it can't really be returned to you to be interactive again.

Have you looked around. There'd have to be some custom scripts for this to work.

It's only January

I watched all of it as a kid. Recently I tried re-watching some .. eh ...it shows its age. It's tough for it to hold up after shows like the 2000s BattleStar ... I wonder how TNG would hold up .. haven't watched one of those in forever.

That's probably a good stopping point. I never did finish that one .. maybe I should download them.. :gummythink:

I stopped watching Strange New Worlds when they injected that Jan 6th scene. I made it through season 1 of Picard (1/3 of it was pretty well written, 2/3 were just total fucking trash) and I think I made it to season 3 of Discovery and was amazed they were going to make another season.

The only good Star Trek to come out in the past decade was Star Trek Lower Decks (yes, unironically). Unfortunately it only works for Trek fans. I don't think people will get half the jokes unless they've watched at least two of the originals (TOS/TNS/DS9..) It's over, but I'm glad it ended on a high note without going to shit.

It's not decay. Most shooters were on SSRIs. A lot of them were also heavily influenced by the CIA. A good amount of shootings (I'd say over half the big ones that make it to the news) are intentionally provoked in an attempt to restrict gun ownership. The 1996 Hobart shooting is an excellent example.

Why not Misskey?

aww ... and he even has a permanently attached fur coat! Still too cold.

Space janitors can have adventures, and even become captains .. and then get demoted back down to janitor.

our prophet has returned

It's the main character in its own story ... and a discount Hunger Games extra

A friend of mine read this and said it wasn't all that useful; maybe it would have been impactful in his 20s, but in your 40s it's basic shit you should already know.

Probably perfect for the OP though. Maybe better would be Go Set a Watchman, which deals with guilt by association, listening to people you don't agree with and the freedom of speech.

It has to interject its identity as the reason for cunting out about someone replying with "unsolicited advice" on a public forum.

I interviewed a few years back for a fax company. It's insane how many business still use faxes, especially in the medical field.

Are you saying the PBX software doesn't support faxes, or that if you hook up an old Fax Modem, the compression kills the data signal?
