You're welcome! There is a new version now, Nano 3S, more hashrate same power consumption... It doesn't replace a normal size heater, just a small size one, but it was worth it for me. I actually got two of them, I will try to make one to mine on its own in the hope of solving a block... Wish me luck!

I was deciding between a Bitaxe and a Avalon Nano 3, same price but the Avalon actually works as a little home heater and has 4-5 times the hashrate. Still unprofitable but it helps warm the house now while generating some clean sats in Ocean's pool...

Ah nice! Well the cost is essentially the cost of you sending a transaction on-chain. If the fees are low then the cost is ok... But that is essentially going to be a channel for spending sats. Then you need a channel to receive as well, OR send half of the sats on that channel to a lightning wallet like Strike or similar and the the channel will be balanced and have space to receive as well.
