Why python though ? :/
Thanks a lot, I'll do if I feel I'm really stuck.
With docker I have pubkeys signature failures on build and without docker I guess my debian is too old to have correct versions for some deps compiling.
I opened an issue on the repo to ask if it was a possible to have binaries provided as assets on the releases like I do for #[4] as it could avoid headaches for people not used to rust
Trying to run nostr-rs-relay. Be it with or without docker it seems it's gonna be a hard time.
None of the provided options run out of the box 😔 and no release provides compiled ready to go binaries 😕
Filestr 🥩 https://filestr.vercel.app/ uses void.cat (more providers soon) to allow you to publish NIP-94 File events. These events will have torrent links and blurhash added, and you can select to which relays you want to publish https://filestr.vercel.app/new Hashtags are also supported.
Will have to dig onto this, if that's what I think that's a freaking great news

Ho, so this means option 1 is better on every aspect - or did I miss something ? Then go for option 1
I'd say it depends on your needs. If you don't need much logs or file storage I'd rather go for the 2 thread + 4 GB RAM as it means faster computing on the fly
Amethyst does

Relay > Profile > Flux RSS
PoW activated !
I'll have to clean a few things in doc then let's go for automated PoW on the instances !

I think I will release the pow notes for @nostrss as a 0.3.1 alpha version and deploy it to see if this can have an effect onto relays i use
Btw I know there is also PoW notes.
I just merged a branch on #[1] repo that allows to provide a default PoW difficulty to notes + fine tuning PoW difficulty for each identity.
Does anybody knows if this is something that is already used in rate limiting rules ?
Hey nostrers,
For those of you who run a relay I have a bunch of questions regarding relays and rate limiting. On your relay, does rate limiting is based on IP ? Also, is there any way for a client to know the limiting rules that are applied ?
I'm running an instance of #[0] which I suspect gets ignored as it streams around 15 RSS feeds onto nostr.
However it looks like after a while there is no more publications and it comes back from time to time.
My logs show no errors aside errors of connection to relays. I suspect then that the server that hosts the instance gets ignored.
I'd like to fix this the best way possible for everyone :
- being able to broadcast many RSS feeds
- avoid to be considered as a dumb spammer
This is just a test
