Love the app, decided to purchase Pro within a week of using it. One limitation I have is that link previews often truncate 75% of the way through a headline since so many articles have wordy headlines these days. Would there be any way to allow more than 2 lines for a headline in a link preview before truncating?

nostr:npub1dajyn80symwyrgq4lg726s6qs9gydgk02a8s6g6v2qk803whucdqlarxmk Thank you for the suggestion. You can also submitting feature request via email theSpringApp@gmail.com

nostr:npub1um0zmdgwhkkyea7qaummhn992qd3q40grts3e4xdjx6ewjyrv7nqe6qgdv It’s a Mastodon server issue. This can usually be solved by re-saving your notification settings: open Mona Settings, scroll to bottom and tap Push Notifications, tap your account then hit the Save button. If it’s still not working, try signing in again to the same account.

nostr:npub1svs3dzxhfc3mtdr7a59jsj48wdg0f0fgy0au2yataxu6vza6n8userp66u I read "a limitation of the protocol" as "a limitation of ActivityPub" since that is the protocol Mastodon is using. It's true that the Mastodon API doesn't support this feature and that's what stopping clients from implementing it, but that's on Mastodon itself, not the protocol it's using. As far as I can tell, ActivityPub doesn't do anything to prevent this feature from being implemented as described.

nostr:npub15y6x73rcu0867mulkdd7mdp28mrx6zlh6206suwsm3a7e7v5fsdqq4azut Maybe I understand it wrong. The original post was discuss about a missing feature on a Mastodon client, and the only communication protocol between a Mastodon client and server is the Mastodon API.

However, that is *no* limitation of the protocol (#ActivityPub) in itself – it's a design decision of #Mastodon! Or at least I don't see any reason why it couldn't be done: The information who boosted is already there, you'd just need to send an extra notification to the server of that person, no?

nostr:npub15y6x73rcu0867mulkdd7mdp28mrx6zlh6206suwsm3a7e7v5fsdqq4azut What do you mean sending an extra notification? Servers might be able to get that info via ActivityPub, but clients only work with Mastodon API.
