Stained glass restorer/creator artisan. & Hand tool woodworking. Why? Because restoring is being part of the BTC realm. Not buying sh”& that will be useless in 2 years … but like BTC will be there as an Heritage . Creating beauty through Light and Glass is being true to a code : beauty of well Made Human things. Let’s get glass crazy!

Here we go with another restoration .

Enjoy friends .

Final restoration . With great artisans , the Sky is the limit ;) I am lucky to have them .

Reinstalling 1929 stained glass. I must say …it’s not a winter job …but it is what it is !

Mock-up time… and yes …they will be put into the light !

But there is 55 like that to be installed … so trial is paramount .

Now the Rosace. With the Choir, it’s the “pièce de résistance “ of this Anglican Church . The stained glass will be restored and the wood structure completely redone by a Compagnon du Devoir from France

Some small communities do all they can to preserve for the other generation . Very “hard money “ mentality , when you think about it .

Just finished restoration yesterday. Installed today.

wow

Thank you 🙏

New church being analyzed today. Long day. 1880-1935 stained glass. Small Anglican Church in middle of a city . Will be converted into a community/show/event center.

Bravo !

Please look at the protective glazing / wire screen, and the effect on interior view of the sg.

Always touched when I see dedications. Stained glass becomes powerfully “personal”.

Important restorations soon. Hopefully!

Agree . We are pions. There is no “communist “ “capitalist “ : it’s simply “control”.

Another church analysis. Anglican. Quebec has many of those jewels. The Catholic Churches are often more imposing. The Anglican ones are …quaint. Wood (Mostly oak) and glass ARE the ones creating the atmosphere.

The idea of having REAL money is totally in my ethos: creating high quality work , new or restored . The idea is “pérennité “ & “qualité “.

First example in North America of a church using “Dalles de verres”.

Ste Anne de Beaupré.

I like posting on NOSTR. No idiots no spam. Just very interested people.

Next project. Dismantling has been done. Much issues with such young stained glasses. Financial decisions will have to be taken…
