I'm thrilled to announce the launch of #0xchat v1.2.5 beta! Here's what's new:
1.Introduction of the Cashu wallet feature.
2.Fixed bugs and some crashes reported by users.
-Issue with Android unable to open link using the default browser.
-Problem with Relay: added '/' and cannot request
-Issue with Amber login: sats payment options do not appear.
-No FaceID prompt when copying private key.
-Messages sent by oneself are not received after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Your input of "nsec" will show the login button; ensure to enter the nsec in the correct format.
So there's some confusion about Coracle's private groups stuff, which boils down to it seeming like they don't work/exist.
What's actually going on is they rely on NIP 44 support, which is only available right now if you log in using your nsec directly, which no one does (and no one should do). Coracle also supports public groups (nip 72 communities), so if you're not logged in with your nsec, that's all you have right now.
My top priority is to get NIP 44 support merged into nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxthwden5te0wfjkccte9eekummjwsh8xmmrd9skctcpzamhxue69uhkzarvv9ejumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcyflj58 and nos2x, at which point things will start to make more sense. And of course I'll be constantly tweaking the UX to make it less disorienting.

The default DM in 0xchat is a gift-wrapped DM, which is not supported by Damus. You can disable gift-wrapping and use normal DM, so that it can be seen in Damus.
which npub you use in 0xchat? try to add you as contact for testing
The latest beta version of DM uses nip44v2, please make sure both you and your friend are using the latest version of 0xchat. If you send a DM with the latest version to an older version, the older version will not be able to receive the DM message.
