I think Wales might secede from the U.K. Ireland might unify and do the same. I don't think England will risk letting Scotland have their independence.
Personally, I don't think Gaza will exist after this. Iraq and Iran could possibly merge. Not sure what to make of China. They'll definitely see an increased level of internal conflict in the short term. Not sure if we'll see a civil war of sorts. But, we'll see. The Saudis might force a merge with Kuwait. Not sure about Argentina. Brazil will see a secession of multiple states. Texas might secede from the U.S.

Empire collapses, such as the one we seem to be entangled in right now, have always led to the merging of states and nations in the past, as well as their destruction. I can't help but wonder which nations will cease to exist and which ones will go through a period of expansion after the system resets. 🤔
I agree. The societal collapse that we're going through, atm, is no different from previous cycles. Nations and states will merge or be destroyed. New ones will be made. And the economy will be restructured.
