The Tapir is a curious creature with a prehensile snout found in Central and South America as well as Asia. Despite their odd looks, their closest relative is the rhino, and you will never be a real woman.

Had my dandelion salad. Not awful. Kinda just tasteless. But it was free so 👌

I swear I do more research responding to posts than I do when I actually set time aside to research

Good morning

My first day off in a couple of weeks.

Took some time to enjoy the flowers. I'm seeing these yellow flowers everywhere this time of year. The grow tall as fuck, as you can tell from the last pic. Or maybe I'm only 3ft tall. Your call.

It looks so proud!

Be proud little guy. You'll grow big and strong and fuck people up

Maybe try starting small with short stories. Maybe even kid's books.

For me it was sherlock holmes - lots of easy to digest and interesting shorts.

that poor bird

never have i heard it described as a scratch. usually more along the lines of a million needle pokes

They're just trying to eradicate resting bitch face

Afghan hounds are a really ancient working breed, and as such the breed clubs allow most colors and variations, and colors that aren't accepted were bred out ages ago. But there are some exceptions.

Small white spotting may be permissible, but large areas of white like in pic 1 is highly undesirable. This is the only ACTUAL fault for color in kennel clubs.

Afghan hounds never had merle coloration in their breed - as such, a merle afghan hound is assumed to be a mix.

Dilute, like in pic 2 with the dilute black (blue) coloration, was lost long ago in the breed (hence the old shitty pic). Liver, tan saddle, and white spotting were also lost in these these guys. Although not technically mismarks, if you see it today, it was likely outcrossed somewhere down the line.

Regardless of color or pattern, these dogs should have a black nose, black eye rims, black lips, and black paw pads. Pic 3 shows a white/cream with a light colored nose. Unsure if pic 3 is simply faded (cell damage, sun exposure, aging) or is actually pink but i'll take it.

Eye color should also be dark, ranging from a dark brown to black. Pic 4 *maaaay* be an amberish color, or maybe just a trick of the lighting.

Another undesirable outcome are shorthair dogs - while rare, it can happen in purebred afghans and it is unknown why (Pic 5).

So I get that nature plays a part in dog behavior. However I genuinely do believe nurture plays a fucking huge part. Case in point, the Papillion.

The Papillion was literally bred for fuck all. They were meant to sit on people's laps and warm their hands.

Check this Papillion doing better than border collies at agility trials

Here is a pappillion jumping 16ft7in into a pool - for the record that would be like a labrador being able to dive about 30ft into water

Were pappillions bred as ratters, herders, or retrievers? No, they were never bred for these and are still not bred for them today. But look at them excel at these sports, outcompeting dogs that have been bred for centuries to do this shit.

Meatloaf is pretty bad ass

Texas Meatloaf is even better :blobcatcowboy:

Are you using one of those binders for game cards to store seeds? That's such a good idea!

I watched this one lady leave speech therapy with her daughter and she was yelling at the daughter for crying in speech therapy. I really wanted to smack a bitch. Poor kid.

We're not even removing the kids from physically abusive parents, there is no chance that parent is going to get any kind of reformation from CPS.

Its only in one area, and it was because someone let their pet rabbits out and they started breeding
