On the bright side I think they are gonna piss off way too many people at some point. At a certain point it becomes a significant demographic that they are harassing.
It really does seem insane that anyone over 30 years old would still think that either party will ever fix heal anything.
I bought one of those once and then returned it after I realized what I had just bought. Decided not to mess with security cameras until I can set it up closed circuit.
Author Stehpanie Kelton goes on the Daily Show to make case for MMT and why governments shouldn’t have the same financial constraints of “businesses and households” https://video.nostr.build/fce8bfb8c3d816cec8e3af40f29564fbce9973db393869a6bddd26e368f21c9a.mp4
That was literally incoherent gibberish lol
Does physical location matter in any way as far as which pool a miner joins?
I always thought I was liberal until recently but just bc I am socially liberal. The conservatives were always the squares who were anti gay marriage, pro life, pro war, anti marijuana legalization. Now I realize both sides are just as authoritarian. They just pick and choose which things they approve of.
Yes they could take the money if they knew the pin. They could either send it to another wallet or they could prompt the cold card to show them your seed phrase. Using a pass phrase actually creates a second wallet, which is your seed phrase plus the pass phrase. So when they got into your coldcard, they would see what is in the non-passphrase wallet but there is nothing to alert them to the fact that you also have a passphrase wallet. That’s why it can be a good idea to keep a minority of your funds in the wallet with no passphrase as a decoy, so they think they got all your money. I didn’t realize until recently that adding a passphrase actually gives you a second private key that is completely different than the original seed phrase. The coldcard doesn’t indicate that there is any passphrase associated with it, so there is nothing to give someone a clue that you have one. Just remember that adding a passphrase does not protect whatever funds are in your current wallet. You have to send them to the new address protected by the passphrase.
I am a non technical person who’s only been in bitcoin for a few years. Are you saying that it is counterproductive to never increase the block size if it means transaction fees are unaffordable? Just guessing at your meaning. I could be way off base here 🤔
I’d be stoked if it does 🤙
I’m about to do some UTXO management this week for the first time. Fees are not that bad currently depending on the day
But I just grow mushrooms 😖
maybe we should get shirts made that say "I'm a criminal" on them. I mean, at this point, we all are. maybe nostr:npub1lqpuy5pgpce04rw48sdvp5khfm60j3d5vv8ufugdp97jt59rlhasry9h3r and proof of ink can throw one out.
I’d wear it haha
I guess I just wasn’t sure how the mixing part works, if they take down the servers
I’m not one to debate on the internet but that’s not based off of anything that anyone in any media has ever said about him. It’s based entirely 100% on just watching and listening to him. Not hard to see when you have been around such people in real life.
I’ve literally been trying to learn coinjoining in the past couple weeks using entirely KYC sats just to learn and to protect myself from future government overreach. Luckily I didn’t have anything currently mixing, not sure if I would have been able to get it out now.
