I've been on #Nostr for quite some time now. The decentralized social network that doesn’t have any core corporate control. Been roaming around, exploring and really getting hooked over time. I'm still figuring it out. Only got introduced to getting zapped last night. It was fun! 😬
It's lottt less drama, no ad, hugely engaging with loads of meaningful interactions. People will hear you, and you will want to listen to them. I think I've engaged in more conversations last night alone than any other social media in the last six months! It's so refreshing. You can be a lot more you.
Consider joining or at least explore it a bit. See if you like the natural freedom and openness of that space that we've constantly been robbed of.
They say it feels like the early days of the internet (and more, I'd add)! Who would want to miss it! And and and 🗣 You can swear all day and scream all the wrong words! 🫣

I was roaming around nostr and came across the hashtag #proofofwalk! And it is exactly what it sounds like! People sharing their experiences and the progress of walking. This is what I needed as I've been sitting still at the corner of my bed for days now, processing the changes of my surroundings. Meaning to and dreaming of going out but can't.
There is something about movements that bring oneself out. There is something about sweating your heart out! It's so stress-releasing. Like dancing or crying or screaming or laughing. And to have a push, to see other people exploring the roads and forests and rivers and skies and life beyond their rooms and offices and phones, makes me feel like I'm not alone on the road.
