Initally monero was there. It detected the transaction.

Looked at thre feed to tip someone monero.

Returned to the wallet and the monero was not there.

Up until this point, I just followed your prompts to create the wallet.

I needed to delete the wellet. Then restore. Not the user experience you were hoping I would guess so that's why I am sharing the feedback.

I deleted then restored the wallet in Monstr and pushed the restore height back a bit and it worked.

Some sort of bug with the restore height perhaps.

fair enough. Use Gupaxx. It is a Node, runs p2pool and mines at the same time. Then you can send hash to your p2pool from your desktop, etc, or even an old android phone using XMrig for android.
