Yeah they are. The pests are the pleb classes. Then there's the herbicide Glyphophate which kills people using various mechanisms including endocrine disruption... they're adding to wheat AFTER harvest, even though glyphosphate doesn't increase yield on wheat crops because there's no Glyphosphate-resistant strain yet.

You forgot pesticides in all the food.

If the raison d'etre of such an organisation (DAO or otherwise) is Freedom, then it'll just manifest in whatever way is conducive to more freedom. Hopefully we're going to get a big dose of Libertarianism from the US in the coming months, so it'll be a good time to experiment with different value propositions.

Haven't hit the telegram group yet - thanks for the link. Already talking to one dev team, but going to need more... particularly app devs.

I have no doubt that it'll be possible to create value / incentives. I think about this problem a lot. Some larger players will have a better chance of trailblazing quickly.

If seems logical to me that for-profit organisations (probably startups) will fund relay devs out of imperative, as people start to view and use nostr for more valuable use cases.

Yo.

A Nostr marketplace indexer [nip-15] relay will optionally index marketplaces, along with stalls and products (see: diagon alley model). Commissions paid upwards.

Nostr telemedicine app (on enterprise relay). Document management (bloods, diagnostic imagery) is the main challenge. Subscription model.

Need devs. Can pay in corn.

I can't recommended Nostr to political dissidents because the existing clients compromise peoples privacy to such an extent that they are even more exposed than using Twitter which at least has https (low bar). Clients need to build-in encryption by default.

#Israel is continuing to commit the most egregious crimes against humanity on a daily basis.

Yes - the spec allows this to be set on a percentage or absolute value basis. Some wallets may not have implemented this. Indeed, some even game the routing so they can skim higher transaction fees.

It could be that you're sending from / receiving to relatively isolated nodes. Have you tried setting a maximum fee?

How can ecash holders verify that the mint fully & effectively blinded the signature?

If I'm selling you eggs in El Zonte for ecash, but we realise there's no connection to the mint after you've paid me (ie revealed the tokens) what happens?

You clearly have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
