Not a week goes by that I don't use it.
What a great job.
Agree. Boltz is epic!
Antenna design/usage is an artform lol. I assume ones made by a reputable company have been tested for the band that they advertise, but no guarantees. If an antenna is a few mm too long or two short, RF gain starts to tail-off quite sharply. There are ways of testing using an oscilloscope but I can't remember exactly how to do that now. #LoRa

Yooo... Really curious to know what your bill of materials is for that rig.
Sunday Brunchtime...
Time to see all the cool things people are doing with #meshtastic XD

Ln channel fees going up 😪
Need a sub $100 hardware device (probably a cheap stock android with custom ROM) that comes bundled 'Out Of The Box' with Lightning Channel Capacity, with retail boxes similar to how you'd market a memory stick or Lebara/Lyca sim packs... then a WALLED GARDEN store of Point Of Sale apps, and maybe in a plastic orange case.
Any bank.
Every Saturday.

Bruh!
Meshtastic is the hardware that provides an open source RF cloud. Reticulum is the private and encrypted transport protocol. When combined, it will cause a lot of butthurt for people with central planning aspirations.
Ahh I see. Is 70cm is available to licenced hams?
Is it viable to use meshtastic on 433Mhz in the US? I think it would propogate better - especially given the atmospherics.
LFGGGGG - I'm now wondering whether a meshtastic yagi rig on 70cm could do Blackcomb bump room (next to Rendezvous) to Mt Bachelor.
Lower frequencies generally give you more distance (Km) per Watt. I think it generally makes sense to go with 70cm (430ish MHz)
