We should be paying more attention to the headline above. And doing something about it.
When junior doctor Iyah May refused to change the lyrics of her song, her manager terminated her contract.

“First, the Russian side must apologize to Azerbaijan. Second, it must admit its guilt. Third, punish the guilty, bring them to criminal responsibility”
Unpopular opinion: the parties that are criminally responsible for the shoot down of flight 8243 include the airline management and the pilots themselves.
Purely from a passenger safety point of view it was criminally irresponsible to fly a passenger airplane into Russia. Ukraine is, quite rightfully, waging an extensive drone warfare war against Russia, and planes are going to get shot down. Secondly, it's obviously morally wrong to support the Russian economy by flying planes to Russia. And finally, it's Russia: we know they're immoral scrumbags. You can reasonably expect Russia to do things like intentionally try to kill off planes they shot down by accident. That significantly increases the risks.
If the pilots hadn't died, they should have gotten criminal charges for agreeing to do this flight. As should the entire management chain above them who planned and approved this flight.
As for the Russians manning the anti-air defenses, what they've done that was criminal was showing up to work at all. Trying to prevent Ukraine from winning is a deeply immoral act.
More immoral than sending all of your countrymen to die in a pointless war of attrition, then selling their land to Blackrock while simultaneously starting coups in Syria and Korea?

Props to everyone for the vibes through 2024*.

CoinOS is made in Canada and supports #Bolt12 send receive, so you can easily top-it up. It has a load of awesome functions, like auto-sweeping over a certain balance. It's low friction for no-coiners; web native so no app installation. An absolute Christmas cracker of a product!
Trump will cut-off the money and issue an executive order to freeze funding that's already been authrosied, very soon after he takes office. My guess is that he'll fly to Moscow in his first few days. The European defence complex is largely coupled to the Atlantic Council (which effectively sets NATO policy), and is controlled through the US intelligence establishment. Tulsi Gabbard will kick the swamp monsters into touch. Hopefully there' be some arrests. Senators will fall into line.

Questions about morality put him into kernel panic
Agreed. The Ukrainians had left too. Seeing how the Ukrainians took on the role of older brother to the Russians (who were generally younger - lower draft age I guess) is at least cause for some hope and optimism.
I genuinely believe in the 'Fix the money fix the world' slogan. It is,of course, more complicated. But that place and the people have been a source of inspiration. Onward.
...and this week a Russian cargo ship, Ursa Major, has sunk in the Mediterranean after an explosion in the engine room. Four Russian ships sunk in two weeks. 😂
It was carrying port cranes to Vladivostok, as well as critical parts for an under construction Russian icebreaker. I'd give you a 90% chance this was sabotage.

The cranes:

Those cranes would have moved a lot of cargo; Vladivostok has capacity issues.
Also good news, two crew members are missing, likely dead, which will hopefully discourage future crews from sailing for Russia.
During summer, I spent much longer than planned in a pop-up hostel in Turkey, run by some young Ukrainian hippies, on a patch of derelict land about 100m from the sea. The elderly Turkish lady who owned the delapidated building lived upstairs and just wanted to monetise the rickety building.
The guests were mostly Russian and Ukrainian guys. Probably more Russians on most days. There was me, a British girl with not so good teeth who worked for a charity, and a few random middle easterners and africans, token Dutch backpacker etc.
On my first night, I chilled with a Ukrainian guy on the beach. He was in the navy. Most of the Russians and Ukrainians there had been in the military. Most evenings there was a BBQ/campfire in the little garden patch. Everyone shared meat, and pizza, and cigarettes. More than a few of the guys had a brother or close friend still fighting, perhaps. There was visable trauma, but sometimes interrupted or blunted by cheap Turkish alcohol, dark humour, and more cigarettes... tobacco was a precious commodity, but freely shared between everyone.
Sometimes lots of laughter. Some arguments. Lots of tears. I haven't felt like sharing this experience until just now. Don't be a war whore Peter.

The entire assessment can be written-off as a total farce after the first paragraph, wherein they admit to a concentration variance of between 10% and 100%. (Spoiler alert: they get it certified at 10% and then increase the concentration after it's approved. This is a standard Bill Gates playbook trick).
"An application was submitted to the Food Standards Agency in April 2021 from DSM Nutritional Products Ltd., UK (“the applicant”) for the authorisation of an additive (Bovaer® 10) containing a minimum 10% 3-nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP), under the category of ‘zootechnical’ additives."
Also, the safety label on Bovaer *literally* says that it can cause 'male infertility'.
