📸 Just a couple snaps of one of the 216 towers at #bayontemple. This temples always been a personal favourite for all the different vantage points the doorways provide to see the carved faces of #Buddha.
Shot on a #canon eos200D with my #50mm. I had some fun doing some light colour-correction on both, then had some fun with colour-grading to see how I felt about green in the #mid-tones and highlights for the first photo you see 🎨
Still here, just enjoying not being on socials much, stay safe ✌️✨

#Bitcoin is so desirable that influencers will pretend to lose interest in it in bear markets so they can buy more #Bitcoin at a discount when their followers chase the next shiny thing.

📍 The first image in this series of #photos from #bayon temple was an absolute fluke I admit, because I managed to accidentally catch the driver as they zoomed past - leaving brilliant streaks of light through the image ✨
Shot on an #iso of 200, I left the shutters open for a while to get as much light as I could from the temples (f 1.8) - #bulb was actually too bright when I tried the first one, whitewashing the faces of the #temple . In #postediting I did a bit of #colourcorrection touching contrasts, highlights, saturation etc,. In #colourgrading I moved #midtones towards the colours of the lights in each temple shot, but I didn’t go too drastic here because these colours were already pretty solid 🔥
Angkor at Night series 📸
#angkor #angkorwat

I’ve now watched the YouTube short and it’s fire!! I need to find this 🔥🙌🏻
📍 #progress reminders are beautiful things, a year ago I wasn’t at the level of understanding how to take this kind of #photo as a #manualimage . But now, I’m at the stage where I’m playing with low #isos , #apertures and #exposures that seemed wildly foreign before. Really just enjoying the journey of it all, doubt I’m going to reach a stage actually where I go ‘yep, I know it all’. That’s the beauty of genuinely loving a hobby, right? The idea that you’re going to grow as that industry/area develops further ✨
These shots were shot on an iso of 200, at f1.8, which kept the shutters open for about 60-70 seconds it felt. The first one, shot on bulb, was horribly white. But the second…that was the first time in #lowlitphotography I’ve ever looked at the image and felt proud🙌🏻
The beams of light emanating from #bayon temple in the distance are clear cut, with the moat that surrounds #Angkorwat temple illuminated well in contrast. In #postediting #colourgrading I hit these ones (in order) with purple, blue, and brown mid-tones. Apart from that, I didn’t go over the top with altering much of what you see, bumped the shadows up a little to show you the boat sitting on the water, a little #contrast to make the colours pop. A touch of #saturation while still remaining #realistic to what my eyes saw 📸

📍 Taken in #kampongkdei / #cambodia , this 1000 year old bridge is still in use today for foot and motorbike traffic! I like #selfportrait #photography because it challenges me to try to get #photos that I feel ‘look like me’, or at least who I see myself as. This one captures probably one of my favourite facets of my personality - #adventure and #curiosity ✨
I’d heard about this bridge from a friend, found it on google maps, rented a motorbike, and went -> I like that part of me, and in the first shot, that’s who I see 📸
In #postediting I gave both images, but stronger on the second, a green #colourgrading in the mid tones and a more aqua in the highlights. This was one of my first colour grading attempts, at the start of 2024 ⚡️

I feel the exact same way about this country in general 🥰🇰🇭 I’ve got a lot of love for the people and culture.
Angkor I go weekly and it never gets old for me 🥰
Excited to be here ⚡️🔥
📸 Shooting #angkorwat at night, during a 4-day event, has definitely gone on my #photography #highlights list in #cambodia . The images you see here are of #bayontemple , one of the more well-known temples in the #angkorpark because of the 200 carved faces of #buddha on the 50 towers that rise from this #12thcentury monument.
#photographing this in #lowlight wasn’t as hard as some of the darker temples because it was lit up really well. However, I did need to bring down #exposure and #aperture to control some of the glare bouncing off of the carvings.
In post #editing I did a bit of #colourcorrection and #colourgrading . The colour scheme I like rotates around a little bit of #saturation and #realisticcolours -> I want you to see the colours I see, but I don’t want it to seem unrealistic or hyper saturated ✨⚡️
This is the #angkoratnight #collection 📸🇰🇭

📸 #portfolioshots / #portraitshots are currently one of my obsessions. I think it’s the challenge of taking #photos that #capture the subject, while also doing so in a way that makes them feel strong, powerful, etc, **insert desired emotion**. 🙏🥰
This was the first time I’d done more staged, subject-based #photography for a friend’s #portfolio . In post edits I did a bit of #colourgrading and #colourcorrecting to make the colours pop against the background.
I seperate this collection into colours (in my brain), here’s a few from the ‘Yellow Collection’ 💛🌻🌙

Excited 🥳☺️
Hiya everyone, 👋✨
Just a girl from #Australia slowly moving through the world taking snaps 📸 & #vids 🎥 of things that interest me.

I’ve always been into #videography and #photography but it wasn’t until I randomly decided to stay living in #SEAsia that I really started to get more into telling stories/a narrative through the things I take or make. Living and #travelling through the 🌍 wasn’t really anything close to what I pictured my life turning into…but, it’s working out pretty well so far…I’ll let the #adventure and #travel content I eventually start sharing be the judge of that..here's a few of my favourites from this year 🌴😏

If you like my stuff that’s sick, I like doing it - if you don’t, that’s fine, I don’t always love the end result either. But, either way, hopefully you’ll get to see it continue to #grow 📸
The concept of #nostr is pretty damn exciting, and I’m slowly starting to wrap my head around how decentralisation isn’t just applicable to #Bitcoin / #BTC but also to the way we engage and interact in/with social media. All of this is still relatively new to me though, but I think I’m in the right place to continue #learning more!
Times are changing, and I’m feeling pretty damn grateful I got a tip to jump on here…
Ready for it all, let’s go ⚡️✨
