I had the same problem (along with other mints) but it was so small I didn’t care. My case was cashu’s web.app.

I imagine this: the coffee shop could mint some ecash per selling, it should be on the ticket and if you want to connect to their WiFi just redeem the token related to your purchase.

My experience with other nostr-store was not good. Once I paid but there was not notification for me or the seller.

My point: it would be nice to “save” the process before paying so if your order fails you can stay “on process” or something so the merchant can notice if there is a problem during the payment (also the customer). I helps me a lot to notice problems on my Wordpress page.
