Staying Humble. Stacking Sats.

LOL, its working now.

I was running Orbot. Switched off Orbot for Blitz Wallet and now it seems that its working.

Sorry for the confusion. 😬

I'm using 0.6.1

Ouh yeah and on startup I always get this error.

Something doesn't work at all in my case.

I noticed that I cannot generate lightning invoices. When I try to set an amount and press REQUEST.

My understanding is that every app that gets into zapstore is legit. But was confused that there are two of the same app.

Hi nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgzqtdq0 nostr:nprofile1qqs8y6s7ycwvv36xwn5zsh3e2xemkyumaxnh85dv7jwus6xmscdpcygprpmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0ekucf3

which app s the legit one?

Great! πŸ‘

What about the idea that when I receive a payment in my ecash wallet, the payment splits up e.g. equally to my mints. (Maybe in options you could change the distribution, that your favorite mints gets 50%)

Let's say I have 3 mints and receive 3000sats. So each mint would receive 1000sats.

Instead of choosing which mint gets everything and change it when requesting a payment etc.

Would be nice UX.

They fixed it with 1.8.1.

Regarding (3), with LNC the Mailbox server can see your IP address.

Have you seen guides about running LND in Hybrid mode behind a VPS? https://github.com/TrezorHannes/Dual-LND-Hybrid-VPS

I’d echo what nostr:npub1lxktpvp5cnq3wl5ctu2x88e30mc0ahh8v47qvzc5dmneqqjrzlkqpm5xlc asked β€” which is the private note? It’s not clear in your note. I assume is the node with just one channel?

Hi Alex,

thanks for your reply.

Things like this I was worrying about. So with LNC the mailbox server can see my IP.

Good to know that I can solve it with LND in Hybrid Mode. Will probably try this way.

Do you know if Ibleave footprint behind with NWC?

Regarding your question, yes my private node is the one with just one unannounced channel to my other node with a few channels. Both nodes run on umbrel behind tor.

1. With private I mean that when I interact with my self hosted lightning wallet on my node, no one can find out my IP and find out where I live etc.

2. I don't know if Alby is less/more private than LNC. When something works smoother or better, my head thinks that this may only come with a trade off. And if it works even better, there must be a bigger trade off. That's just how I'm thinking here, but I don't know.

3. Do I "un-private" my private node when connecting to services like LNC or Alby? Is now data flowing through these services that leaves footprints behind about me?

As I'm not technically skilled enough for this, I can't imagine what happens in the background. That's why I asked for a setup where I don't have to worry about this.

For example I bought non-kyc bitcoin. Now I want to spend/earn them in my circular economy. I don't want to worry about that the tax office gets better tracking tools and some day knocks on my door to ask questions.

Wil definetaly checknout your posted articles.

Thank you

Do I get it right that when nostr clients implement nip60 & 61 the client comes with integrated ecash wallet and I would not need an external wallet like your honeypot wallet?

Hey nostr:npub1lxktpvp5cnq3wl5ctu2x88e30mc0ahh8v47qvzc5dmneqqjrzlkqpm5xlc πŸ‘‹

what would you suggest as best lightning setup for privacy and reliability?

I have 2 nodes. One that has chanels to some other lightning nodes. And one that has a only one unanouncd channel to my first node.

I use my private node with ZEUS app. First with Rest then with LNC as it is faster (but less private ?) And now I tried Alby with Alby Hub and my private node. Works even faster (but again less private ?)

Ideally I would like a setup that payments from or to my private node are not traceable but still is reliable when I want to make payments or receive payments.

If you already have an article on your substack about this, would be nice if you could send the link here.

Thank you. πŸ™‡
