When I try to move sats from my nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt wallet to my WoS lightning address it says: Sending to your own Lightning address is not allowed 😳 how can they block that?
The issue occurs because we currently perform a basic check based on username to determine whether it’s the same account. This didn’t account for the fact that the same username can be used across multiple apps. This will be fixed in the next update.
We just hit 4,000 users 🎉

Any idea #asknostr?
Yes, that’s a known issue. NWC is currently in “experimental” mode, and we plan to revisit it to improve reliability. Our focus right now is on the web app.
Sometimes Spark doesn’t return the correct balance. Usually, closing and reopening the app fixes the issue. If not DM us so we can debug your specific case.

This does have nifty functions, and outside of basic functions, a niche use case like this has been a life saver! I'm for sure a fan thats gonna re-evaluate my needs/uses.

When was the last time you tried us? We’ve recently optimized our onboarding—most users can go from setup to first payment in under 20 seconds.

We will be circling back to NWC soon so that I can be usable for nostr.

Interesting. Are the payments not going out or are zap recipients not being posted? Sending does take the most amount of time so it might be timing out. We’ll look into it.

Very loosely, but it would mean you would have to KYC with the service provider we choose, not to use the app.
We don’t kyc you though
ZEUS uses hodl invoices, which are A) somewhat unreliable and B) harmful to the Lightning Network, as they lock up channel liquidity.
Spark takes a different approach. It doesn’t use hodl invoices. Instead, when someone sends you a Lightning payment, it’s auto-swapped into Spark. Then, when you come back online, you co-sign with the Spark operator to regain full control of your funds via a combined key.
The main difference is in the trust model: ZEUS is fully non-custodial and trustless, while Spark introduces a 1-of-N trust assumption—only one honest Spark operator is needed to keep your funds secure.
