Sad truth is we need hardcore bitcoiners to "remain behind" on twitter. That's where the crypto/nocoiners are - the ones that need to hear about bitcoin.
In a way, the McCormack's and bitcoiners who remain there are doing good work.
Snowdens talk at bitcoin Amsterdam was a but tricky to follow. But here's my takeaway from what he said:
Using vpns and encrypted messaging apps to avoid being monitored isn't freedom. Its a sign that you live in an oppressive society. True freedom comes when people stand up and change their societies so vpns are no longer necessary.
