So, highlighting the difference for new users and letting them know that they need to use the mute function may need to be in more of our onboarding communication.

I largely agree with using mute. I’d be hesitant to try to impose censorship tools etc on nostr, of course.

This is more of my individual ethical and moral take coming into nostr, not a dictation or protocol level arrangement.

I’m here to combat this and I do love nostr, but not this type of user attitude.
