That's quite a leap... no I would build a system that optimizes for the productive and taxes rent seekers, especially those that wish to speculate in utilities that act as natural monopolies: housing, railroads, power companies, ect.

I would argue it's a system that has worked for hundreds of millions of years... it's the law of the jungle, it has no concept of right or wrong it just is. The beauty of jungle law is it gives the greatest resources to the most capable. This system is grossly unequal but 100% fair.

There is no doubt they do, it just seems impossible to do it at any sort of reasonable level. It would actually be better for them if the price mooned first. They could convert fiat demands into much less of the available supply.

The world has never experienced a strictly scarce liquid asset, and for that reason I believe it will act in a way we just can't predict

They stated in their prospectus they'd be seeding with cash. As long as they trickle the buys, I don't think it will go ballistic. Just up and sideways. I mean I hope it goes vertical but ya know. I doubt it

I assume they have sophisticated methods to prevent "price slippage". How much capital do you think they are going to deploy into BTC? I mean, even 1% of AUM is roughly 100 billion for them.

the last 4 days i've been going through starvation because i got 1% fat milk - the only thing i can get at the supermarket nearby that i can walk to with the bitrefill acquired gift cards i got two weeks ago. tried to add the fats back with melted butter into the brew. that's a giant noper.

It really is life changing. I can’t even believe I used to go through my days the way I used to.

It's probably also contributed to me eating less calories, as I look at the label of food I'm offered and think I'd rather just not eat. It's living with intention, not just mindless consumption.
