Javier Milei of Argentina... odd looking fella who knows what inflationary money looks like. I like it. Maybe Argentina is on the list to move to.
Perhaps it's better to be in a developing country with an interest in BTC as they will get to the hard money solution quicker than countries with a stronger fiat currency.
Argentina has a lot of great natural resources so with a sound money could really be a great place in decades to come.
I've been to El Salvador and didn't love it tbh.

Accumulate BTC in Trading (not Fiat)
Had a realization today as I slowly wrap my head around pricing things in Bitcoin, a scarce and hard (backed by energy production) digital asset, and that is that I should be trading to increase my BTC only.
Previously I had some USDT which I use to buy BTC (low) and sell it as it goes higher but I then have invested in USDT which is pegged to a inflating fiat currency (the opposite of a deflationary proof of work and decentralized money) but then I'm accumulating a shitty fiat currency when I could be accumulating more BTC which will (should) increase in value over (enough) time.
So, one change I may make to my trading is to put all my USDT into BTC and start trading to accumulate BTC which would look like sell (into USDT briefly) BTC high and rebuy it lower effectively increasing my BTC total slowly but surely.
This has the added bonus of reducing my exposure to USDT which has had some issues with proof of reserves in the past although this topic is debated. Anyhow the point is it still tracks an inflating fiat currency.

Nostr Thoughts:
If I trade BTC then I should only ever sell (short erm for the trade) and rebuy at a lower price. This slowly ticks up my BTC balance which I can either leave on the exchange to buoy my earnings on the next trade or I can send off to cold storage for long term savings.
Previously I had had USDT to trade as well but then Id be lowering my BTC balance and increasing my shitty fiat balance. Ive taken a few months of trading to understand I should be optimizing my BTC balance and not my fiat balance.

There are approximately 10.44 BTC in sats being zapped around the Nostr Network. Considering there are somewhere between 100k and 330k users (trusted and non trusted) that's about 3050 sats per user of we use the untrusted 330k number of users.

Is Climate Change as promoted by the more alarmist media BS?
I suspect a good lie is based in truth. Is the Climate changing? Yes. Is it humans fault? Possibly no. Why does everyone strongly believe it is? I'd guess manufactured consent as Dr Judith Curry suggests. It rings true in lots of scientific fields these days as evidenced by Robert F Kennedies Book Fauci and recent revelations about food science bias towards the promoting a food pyramid that biases food lobby groups. Woke political research and influence at university is similar.

Thoughts from my morning:
Viewed correctly set backs and bad or horrible things can be seen as catalysts for action or improvement in body or mind.
I note here that Epictetus (see below) used his broken leg as a catalyst and inspiration for his life.
In my own life a long time back injury keeps me exercising everyday even twice a day to remove pain and discomfort. In search of remedies it has also led to lifestyle and psychological improvements and learnings.
The problems in our lives if viewed through a lens of catalyst to change or improve can help us climb and build or lives in more successful ways.
The concept of catalyst can be applied to many things. An argument with someone could be a catalyst to be less egoic in our own selves.
People becoming poor around (to work in a bitcoin and inflation angle) you a catalyst for you to learn how to reduce their suffering you were able to avoid by investing in hard assets like Bitcoin. This might be as simple as talking to them about Bitcoin as an inflation hedge.
I took the concept of Catalyst from a v strange series of books called Law of One where they describe suffering at a general human level as catalyst and opportunities for us to remedy that suffering. In the BTC community we are doing these things all the time with orgs like Open Sats or simply using and promoting Nostr to allow free speech and ultimately a more balanced set of opinions on the internet.
