The kids learning data science today will be the people designing the algorithms that run the world tomorrow.
Twitter's API was such a great tool for people learning data science---we had free real-world social media data at our fingertips! (I remember building #maypac word clouds ~10 years ago! 😂)
But, now that the API is stuck behind a steep paywall there's a whole ecosystem of unusable data science tutorials!
I'm building out a nostr API to closely resemble the functionalities old Twitter API. Making it open source and serverless too so anyone can spin it up for cheap (hopefully it'll run below AWS's lambda pricing threshold).
