Stabilizing is when the air inside the wood gets replaced by epoxy in an pressure chamber, you can also dye it :D

i am an young autodidact bladesmith from germany aspiring to achive the best performance my hand can make, with an artistic touch :)

ps: this is a 245 mm workhorse gyuto i forged from 52100 steel with a "shipwrecked" theme and a 185mm " harpoon" bunka (the one with the green background)
