What’s the cost for your music hosting plan for Podhome and a link? I want to add it to my list of alternatives on MSP. Self hosting isn’t for everyone, so I like them to know their options.

It's been a while since I communed with cannabis. I had a period mind you when I required a lot of productive creativity and was writing a book for a pre-launch marketing campaign that my partner at the time labeled me in a very neutral matter of fact a "stoner".😆 It's been a good solid decade since. I mostly commune with it medicinally though if I am particularly emotionally challenged and going through a hard time it certainly has been my coping mechanism. Pretty sober right now from anything.

...instead popping a capsule of l-tyrosin in my mouth and made myself a sweet cup of some kind of black tea... Let's see. Looking for my under eyes to come back to life. Should probably take some before and afters.

I had a really good day today.

My boss gave me $300 worth of grocery gift cards as part of my Christmas bonus. I went and filled up on all the treats and extras I'll need over Christmas. Mosha gets a month supply of soft food and some liverwurst sausage, her favorite.

While I was checking out I spoke about it with the cashier, and she mentioned how lucky I was to get a bonus. No Christmas bonus at the grocery store. My total bill came to just under $250, so I left the remaining $50 gift card for her. The look on her face was all the thanks I needed 🥹

It was a good chance to reflect on how good I have it, and make a stranger's day. Do something nice for a stranger this Christmas, it's worth it 🎄

This is a very good summary of what the issues some of us have with Wavlake. We see BTC and RSS as freedom tech that lets us build things on our terms and conduct commerce peer to peer. Having a middle man to hold and distribute our sats, control our feeds, take 10% of the top, make us abide by their TOS, all for the privilege of being on their exclusive platform, well, that goes against some of our values. Now some people prefer a “free” and easy platform over taking control of their digital property, while others just aren’t aware there are other platforms that put digital sovereignty first. We don’t have a marketing budget to promote the alternatives, we only have our voices, which is why we may come across as so vocal.
