Why have passkeys stopped working on Android all of a sudden? Anyone else? The demo at https://www.passkeys.io/ is no longer doing anything on Brave (Chromium) and Mull (Firefox) on a degoogled phone; and on a Google phone the popup does appear, but it fails to recognize passkeys and my Yubikey is not accepted.

# ADOBE ALTERNATIVES FOR LINUX

Adobe just announce a new terms of service that say they will scan your content and do whatever they want with it. This privacy AND copyright infringement, along with their new ridiculous licensing subscription has a lot of people looking for alternatives.

Fortunately there are many good alternatives for Linux computers, and most of them are open source.

Here are some of the better alternatives:

What is a good alternative to Adobe Scan on Android? I used to use CamScanner many years ago, but I try to make a best effort to avoid apps developed in China--not always possible.

### Signal Messenger

(How to Get the APK for DeGoogled Phones)

Signal is a great open-source messenger app that is available across all platforms. Linux, Android, DeGoogled Andriod, MS, Apple, Linux phones, and iPhones.

Signal end-to-end encryption is the current standard that many chat apps follow and use, such as WhatsApp.

Unfortunately, Signal won't use F-Droid because they say the F-Droid app store is vulnerable to exploits. So if you want to install Signal on Android w/out using the Google Play Store, they offer an APK, and a signature key, but they don't make the APK easy to find.

So here's the link to the APK:

I am aware my pfp and banner vanished at the end of September. I allowed my cloud storage to lapse. Right now my pfp may or may not appear depending on the client. Is an easy fix. But am on vacation. Zzzzzzzz

Yes? There is Cloaked, MySudo, Cloaked Wireless... If trying to get a not VOIP partitioned PSTN Local/Mobile number for pesky websites demanding "real" numbers, then I had success with places like NumberBarn, but pricey.

October upcoming Box Office movies look bleak. What goes in bio? Venom 3? Smile 2? I mean... I guess?

My iPad fell this morning. Booted up my old Docomo dTab (huawei) and it still kinda 'works.' Android 5 is holding it back.
