Follow along to learn how to make your own Agar plates for creating clean mushroom cultures.

Start with with 10g of Light Malt Extract Powder

Then add 10g of Agar Agar Powder. I like this brand over some of the cheaper ones.

Then add 500mL water. Therefore we should be at around 520grams total.

I added some food coloring, which is useful if you are trying out multiple recipes at once and want to keep track. Also I put it in a PP5 container and cover it with foil so it stays protected.

Now put it in the Pressure Cooker and cook for about 30 minutes, at 15 PSI.

Im working on some computer vision stuff, so I made this camera mount yesterday 😉.

Then take it out and let it cool until its around 120F. Thats when you want to pour it into plates. Dont delay too much or else itll get chunky on you.

Carefully pour into your petri dishes in a sterile environment!

You're done! Its easy! Happy cultivating!

I’ve had some good luck creating my website with Wordpress and Elementor Pro. Easy to connect Wordpress to BTCPayServer or LNBits, and it is the easiest no-code, yet relatively sovereign (self-hosted) solution, if you choose to do that. Otherwise hosting is easy and cheap.

Was trying to use an AI QR code generator, and it didn’t really work, but the result was cool regardless!

I mostly just fry them with butter and add them to eggs or currys and stuff like that. I really do love the Lions Mane flavor, someone should make LM chips or something like that 😉

Doing some testing of various modules for an induction heater/sterilizer kit!

All it is really is a 12V, high output power supply, the ZVS module, a switch, and a coil.

This one actually got so hot that the connector melted off the board!

I tried soldering the coil directly on to the board once I learned that, but the damage to the electronics had already been done.

Just ordered ZVS module to try again! You got to push it to the limit to see how well it would operate in the users hands!

Would anyone be interested in a kit of one of these? Please let me know.
