Yeah that is what it is! This is my previous prototype, with 3D printed enclosure. All the wires everywhere made making a better 3D printed case difficult, so hopefully now I have this, I can make a fully enclosed case.
Manufacturing some prototype PCBs *mountain man style* in order to interface two different electronic modules together and clean up the wiring!
In college I used to be obsessed with designing PCBs in this way. It is fun to make a design which only requires a single of layer of copper.
Part 1: Print the circuit onto toner transfer paper.
Part 2: Transfer the ink from the paper onto the copper board, using a hot iron.
Part 3: Etch the copper board using Ferric Chloride
Part 4: Start soldering... Use what you have on hand and make it work!
Part 5: All the modules are soldered into place. It works!
Part 6: Looking good for what it is. Will refine the design a bit more, and then decide whether it is worth sending the board off to be professionally manufactured.

A couple days ago, my #nostr (on nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg ) shows that I have a notification for a PM but on both PM tabs there is no message to be found.
I cleared the notification and now it is back again. Soooo…. If somebody is trying to reach me, potentially give me a ring on signal “lightningspore.96”
I hope so! The bounty sort of requires having the hardware already in hand or would definitely cover purchasing the hardware with like $200 still in the bounty.
I’m a dev too but once it gets too deep into Linux device drivers and stuff I start to get out of my element.
