It seems the basics should covert that much, but if it's stubborn then it sounds like it's some edge case. Maybe some kind of fat stored toxins, like old excess omega 6 or heavy metals or something. Mark's Daily Apple Primal Health Coaches sounded kind of like what you're looking for, but I haven't checked them out too closely yet.
