First grain spread in the main garden this winter. The 5 barrels covered about 4 rows from the greenhouse out. I'll have to roll up the side and spread grain inside on one of the next runs. The birds all spent much of the day perusing the spread. I got my new #dart board and have it installed. It is so nice and I quickly refined my throwing form and am far more accurate now. Helps to be inside where it's nice and warm with good lighting. #hive #Peakd #blog

6, 3 I did myself but one has absorbed into my hand and is not visible now.

The family is all back together now after a pain in the ass time at the airport. Nothing like 4 planes sitting on tarmac unable to get to gates to unload for over half an hour. We had our regular Friday dinner of burgers grilled in the firepit as a little celebratory back to normal. #hive #peakd

I finally took down the butcher basins under the carport. We had left them up in case we butchered more but never got to it so they just stayed where they were. Now with winter coming we need the space under the carport so the cleanup has begun in earnest. #hive #peakd

A day of #rain again dealt me a day inside. It's really good for the region to get so much moisture but it's also nice to get breaks to actually see the #sun a little bit. We have a solid 3 days now with just fog which will hopefully burn off quickly each day. Joys of the PNW.

Managed to catch the #sunset yesterday and on the walk found TONS of #mushrooms that have exploded all over the farm. It really is amazing to see the ground littered with a multitude of types all growing right next to each other. The joys of an el nino Fall in the PNW I guess.

There is something quite pleasing about having the spice shelves fianlly organized. So often it just comes down to carving out the time to finish a task so that is actually happens.

I love that my boys like the "old" movies. Watched Akira again at their request yesterday and they love it. Recently watch Real Genius and Star Wars at their request.
