Heard the energy fud argument again today. The "value per unit energy" rebuttal worked well. They couldn't deny the value of data warehouses etc, but admitted if bitcoin had value for them now, they wouldn't care about it's energy usage
I don't get what the "broadcast" option does on nostr (amethyst). I assumed it would rebroadcast a post, but it doesn't seem to appear anywhere.

My learning for the day. If you want to run a lightning node with lnbits on separate ips, you need to set the "tlsextraip" variable to allow the lnbits ip.
Wasted 2 hours trying to figure that out!!

If you can’t understand the value prop of Bitcoin after reading this book, you’ll never get it. The best part, she doesn’t even discuss bitcoin until chapter 20. 🤣
Mark my words, it’ll be a landmark classic that generations will reference. It's insanely thorough but also very accessible considering the complexity of the material that’s covered.
I think she plans to have it punished very soon (within a month or two), so watch-out for it! It’s the ultimate orange pilling device for people that are intellectually curious.
