Even if you could organize feminists, how are you going to engage in activism is most women have to work most of the day and you can't get you message out on social media and you can't raise funds electronically? Are they supposed to have bake sales? Natives know how to organize online and get shit done. But we accomplish a lot because we have a common value and belief system and online infighting is shut down right away. The infighting is out of control and it's all over the YouTube algorithm. Karen Davis said today she does enough because she sends 3 tweet a week to some elected official. 3 tweets is a drop of dog piss in a parking lot puddle. Young women have no idea what kind of time it takes and how tedious and boring real grassroots organizing can be and they're not willing to sacrifice anything to get things done. Most of them will even say they're waiting for someone else to lead them and give them ideas as to what to do. Organizing in this climate is pretty hopeless. Plus, the trans cult and modern corporatism has done a really good job of eliminating all the places that women used to use to gather collectively. The Unitarian churches aren't going to give TERFs free space to organize anymore or the YMCA or the Universities. The options are limited as to in person on line gatherings.
Yes we do. But it's not the easy way out. We had funding options back in the day. We do not now. We could distribute our own literature and own our own presses before. Technology controlled by Troons makes that nearly impossible today. Plus, all the GC women are fighting among themselves on twitter or demanding absolute loyatly to KJK or whoever they follow instead of coming together and using Twitter effectively while we still can.
There are some crazy fundamentalist Xians out there that don't even think a woman has a right to an abortion if it will save her life and she should make "the right choice" and die for the baby. They just don't want to take away gay marriage, they want to outlaw homosexuality and make no fault divorce go away. They're to the right of the John Birch Society. Phyllis Schlafly and Anita Bryant would have considered today's "ally" too far to the right. Most GC women don't have any idea what's going on because they're trapped in their own small echo chambers worshipping the YouTube flavor of the week.
Unfortunately, it's not like back in the day when women's groups could get federal grants. There is absolutely no money for us and when we try to raise it, the tech platforms we use get shut down. Consequently, the women who are trying to do things are being forced to deal with right wing groups, but Andrea Dworkin has taught us there's a right way to work with the right wing and a wrong way. I don't have a beef with what WolF has actually done yet, but we all need to watch these right wing "allies" very, very closely.
