Looking at the endless palm trees I wondered if it really has been a year since last time in Miami. The familiar heatwave reminded me how time flies, and how some things seem unchanged and some others are forever different.
I’be perhaps become more unforgiving, but I think it’s a good thing.

Sometimes it's foolish to predict what's about to happen - there are simply too many variables. And you would still have to live it, even if you were to predict 100%. How unfair.
