Plebstr android is very smooth, some new features will probably make it really cool.

Best android nostr client suggestion other than amethyst?

Fuck Elon, fuck rate limit exceeded.

Twitter is down now.

Firstly, this is a matter of personal views and secondly, it is not meant to offend anyone. I've been trying Bluesky for 3 days now and I've been actively using it. However, I found something that didn't make me comfortable with the app. The "What's Hot" feed is dominated by LGBTQ content. And because of that, I also experience that Bluesky is probably the app with the most LGBTQ user base. In my opinion, it would be better if Bluesky added moderation in the app that allows certain users (like me) to opt out of LGBTQ content.

People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their futures.

Trying out #plebstr client.

A data engineer is like a kitchen helper who prepares all the ingredients for a chef to cook with. They make sure data is ready for data scientists to use. Data scientists solve problems with the data.

Sometimes people act very confident and think they are better than others. When you tell them they did something wrong, their facial muscles show they are actually upset, even if they don't say it. It helps you know if they are a narcissist.

In a funny bit of Twitter, encrypted DM messages are only available to paid subscribers of Twitter Blue.

Anyone playing Honkai Star Rail here?

It's been a very interesting last few days.

Some problems are solved, some problems are experienced.

Artifact's AI,

A news-brief summary sly,

"Explain like I’m Five" to try,

Or use emojis and let whimsy fly.

But beware of mistakes,

Why Are There Different Programming Languages?

Programming languages work at different levels of 'abstraction.' For example, if you want to program what instructions a CPU gets on a very granular level, then you need to do so using a 'low level' language called Assembly. But if anyone tried to write actual, useful software in Assembly, it would take forever.

That’s why we have 'high level' programming languages that take care of the boring stuff, like memory management and other behind the scenes processes. They enable you to only write code that does the unique things that you want your code to do.

Over the years, this has led to countless new 'high level' languages emerging that are better suited to different computing tasks. For example, PHP is great for writing clever websites, and Apple's Swift language is great for writing basic apps — it essentially turns the different building blocks (menus, pages, buttons, etc.) into Lego blocks that your code can piece together on the screen.
