My wife believes in equality of the sexes and would never suggest that a man should fill out her election ballot for her - but that is what just happened. When push comes to shove and critical thought, effort, or judgement needs to happen to reseach the items & people on the ballot, she askes me to give her a piece of paper that she can take into the voting booth.
There is no need for me to point out what is happening here. She does not want acknowledge it and there is nothing to gain by throwing reality in her face or turning it into a big discussion. I take burden off her plate. I free her mental space. (Worst case is I make a wrong choice on the ballot and years later she does not need to feel guilty about it because she was simply doing what I told her)

Wife has been out of town this weekend. She did a ton of prep for me and the kids and I am grateful for that. We had a good time overall but no matter what happens I will only tell her about the positive things and that we had a great time. She has a constant listening of me that I “always complain” about my time with the kids even if I have a nice time.
Sorry guys and girls but this is the reality for men. No matter a new or old relationship, she does not want to hear your complaints - you will see her turn sour when you complain. If you want tell her about a problem and your brilliant solution, great. But do not tell her about your hard day or whine to her about your issues.
In a long term relationship, it is a minor setback. In a new relationship, it can totally kill attraction. Whatever the relationship situation, she wants a man who handles his own problems and does not whine. If she has to spend mental cycles fixing your problems for you, she will be burdened by you and not be as receptive to your wants and needs.
