not sure exactly what you mean. But social media has never been private. Every social media that's got user profiles and posts like this are completely public with the option for some privacy through "followers only posts". This isn't signal.

I've yet to see a server that has that specific rule tbh. Also, there's 20,000+ instances and new ones every single day. You'll never know who is ingesting your data and why. The only privacy here is to set your posts to "followers only"

it's like email but for social media, I can be on outlook, you can be on gmail, yet we can both talk to each other, even the usernames are almost the same as email. 🤷♂️
I use several different aoposs across devices. On iOS I like IceCubes or Mona. In Android, I prefer Moshidon. On PC, I either use The Desk or the web.

Replies by people you follow aren't shown on the Home timeline unless you also follow the person that they are replying to. However I noticed that I could get around this by boosting my own reply.
