It is so that you wont be traumatized in the transition. So that things will be familiar when you arrive in a new place.

My guess would be that since the currency has been ruthlessly inflated, maybe people cannot afford such projects.

There are some things I'd like to see done, results freely given out, but it has to first be supported during its creation.

This is one of the reasons I so often bring up what it looks like when you are a friend of Jesus. Supporting the projects we want, sponsoring the creation of good things for our community, should be easy for us.

Can't trust modern medicine? Immediately get pulled into homeopathic and "quantum" medicine.

Can't trust modern science? Immediately get captured by some hack that has a simple but flawed test to prove the earth is flat.

Can't trust the government? Real patriots in control, Q is going to save us!

They are somehow able to accept these, worse alternatives, because they have no mechanism for determining if something is true or false.
